Information Architecture for Small Platforms
As a Total Systems Company, SYNEXXUS is a pioneer in designing, developing and fielding adaptive information systems for small platforms. SYNEXXUS provides clients with the ability to rapidly insert emerging technologies and reconfigure vehicles to operate in complex spectral and harsh environments. SYNEXXUS' is focused on developing SPIA (Small Platform Information Architecture) for a variety of uses. Ideally suited for the defense industry, this capability provides geographically dispersed units with a broader base of operational options to counter an adversary's constantly changing tactics. A similar approach can easily adapt this use our information architectural approach for use in the commercial market.
Specifically SYNEXXUS has developed a unique product for a variety of military platforms.
RECONFIGURABLE ARCHITECTURES
With its ELECTRONIC KEEL (EKEEL) services, SYNEXXUS provides world-class management and consulting services in the field of reconfigurable integrated information distribution computer hardware and software systems. As a recognized expert in the field, SYNEXXUS follows approved methodologies and processes for numerous DoD agency level programs. Our successful past performance of executing, monitoring and controlling numerous project management activities combined with our systematic application of systems engineering, risk reduction, and project management disciplines assures successful performance within cost and schedule constraints.
ELECTRONIC KEEL
The Electronic Keel is a genuine plug and play data distribution system that can operate on any vehicle with any sensor, communication module and protocol or device within the same network. It is a dynamic, resource oriented, open architecture for small mobile platforms. The architecture is based on a 1 GB LAN open standard data bus that can rapidly reconfigure for changing technology, missions and threats. It contains super-computing power with full internal and external networked capability.

The primary objective of this data-bus is to inexpensively and rapidly integrate any Internet Protocol (IP) based weapon system, communication module or sensor package. It is purposely designed to easily and readily adapt to changing threats by its ability to insert emerging technology into either existing platforms or new construction. In addition to reliably sharing information, this operational information backbone can operate and control large numbers of unmanned systems such UAV's, remotely command and control a wide array of on-board and off-board sensors and weapons without additional cost to architecture. The Electronic Keel can easily adapt within a platform framework and can be modified without significant integration costs.
SYNEXXUS has designed and delivered a networked based architectural approach that readily and affordably integrates and networks sensors, communication modules and weapon systems for the currently deployed military vehicles.
