Gregory Glaros served for two decades as a Strike/Fighter Pilot and dual qualified as a Surface Warfare Officer (SWO) in the U.S. Navy. Shortly after his Naval service he founded SYNEXXUS INC, a system-engineering holding company and joined the Naval Postgraduate School faculty as a research professor to continue to serve those military officers who serve our nation in combat.

His last tour, with the Department of Defense, was as a direct report to the Secretary of Defense. In this capacity, Mr. Glaros was recognized as one of the nation's intellectual leaders on Network Centric Warfare implementation, information architectures and options theory. Mr. Glaros was the principle architect for several revolutionary, billion-dollar military business initiatives and processes that rapidly linked evolving technology to emerging concepts of operations. As a result he was widely considered a defense entrepreneur who rapidly designed and implemented new technology systems for Department of Defense markets. His leadership and vision created programs that changed the way military systems are designed, managed and procured to include: Re-directed Energy (High Energy Lasers and Airborne Relay Mirrors), TacSat-1 (Tactical MicroSatellites - gaining tactical access to space), Seaborne Composite Coalition (creating national competitive advantage for shipbuilding high-speed composite vessels), Wolf PAC (engineering and command & control of large numbers of geographically dispersed networked assets) and Stiletto (the largest U.S. built high-performance, high-speed composite craft).

He is a 1986 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, received his Space Systems Engineering and Electrical Engineering MS degrees from the Naval Postgraduate School, attended the Naval War College and was an Airwing Strike Leader graduate of the Naval Strike and Air Warfare Center "Top Gun."
