All SYNEXXUS personnel are U.S. citizens and have background checks and the necessary security screening. Our in-house built hardware and firmware eliminate potential back doors and our embedded software inherently eliminates outsider access needed to exploit code. SYNEXXUS’ CMMI Level 3 certified software development provides robust processes and configuration management for trusted solutions that consistently perform. Other SYNEXXUS best practices include: locking down operating system (OS) and networks, OS patching, and regularly scanning source code for weaknesses, which shortens the vulnerability feedback loop to deliver secure code the first time.
SYNEXXUS’ security continues with the implementation, and on-going operations, of a fully secure system including any certifications that may be required from oversight and certifying organizations, such as the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC), for example. SYNEXXUS creates security plans in coordination with the certifying organization, implements controls, performs scans, and provides on-site audit support. SYNEXXUS has extensive experience with official security standards such as: NIST 800 series, DoDi 8500.2 series, the Risk Management Framework (RMF) series, and Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) standards.
SYNEXXUS software often provides integration of many systems into a simple user interface. To achieve this integration, SYNEXXUS engineers use open architecture approaches and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) so our customers can easily add or customize changes as they emerge. Our software is implemented on the platform and software stack to support our customers’ needs: on x86 and ARM processors, and on web, mobile, desktop, and smart display platforms. SYNEXXUS also leverages Virtual Machines to implement Government or Customer Furnished Software and 3rd party software within a single platform enclave.
For military vehicle integration, SYNEXXUS software engineers have provided central access and control of numerous systems, such as: fixed EO/IR sensors, robots, Remote Weapons Stations, radios, vetronics, RF jammers, UAS systems, blue force trackers and pan-tilt-zoom cameras; all from different manufacturers.
